A source of power.

Yet quickly

Fire becomes a force
That’s tough to control. 
Too much fuel
Too much oxygen.
The life givers
Suddenly become takers.
Consuming 
And blinding. 
Burning more 
Burning up
Burning out.

Understandably
Focused on
The former.
We often fail to see
The latter.
Until it’s too late.
