The limits of well-adjusted
Being well-adjusted is useful.
However, it hits a wall
When the expectations and norms being adjusted to
No longer serve.
Then being well-adjusted is stifling.
At which point it’s more useful to be weird and different.
To acknowledge cracks and absurdities.
To turn things on their head.
And cut a new path.
Well-adjustedness, for all of its lovely benefits
Is particularly bad at one thing.
Making trouble
That needs to be made.
